This 1975 issue of the Farmers' Almanac is full of wit and wisdom! The Farmers' Almanac was practically the Bible for farmers in the past - telling them the best times to plant crops, when to harvest and other tidbits.
This issue was a complimentary copy given by CF&I Steel Corporation of Pueblo, Colorado.
This issue has some very funny items in it. There is a chart on employee performance - made in jest - that gave me a couple of good giggles.
A couple of bits of wisdom: Nothing makes a girl watch her figure as men who don"t. Politicians are like old trousers; they only come clean in hot water.
Articles to be enjoyed: Laws To Live By, The Metric System Is On Its Way To The U.S.A., Miracle From Manure, Farewell To The Friendly Postmark That Said Something!, and more.
This item is in very good condition - inside and out. The outer cover shows minimal wear on the outer edges. The lower back cover has been dog-eared at one time. The front cover has a vertical bend the length of the magazine that can only be seen from the inside. The pages are very clean - no writing or dog-ears.
Anyone who enjoys short quotes and bits of humor will really enjoy this issue!
