KLM Royal Dutch Airlines / Dictaphone Time-Master Ad
for item Ad17
This advertising duo comes from a September 1958 National Geographic Magazine.
The first side is an advertisement for KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The suggestion of a KLM Royal Tour to Europe gets a big kiss from the Mrs. For a price from $654 per person, you could take a 17 to 31 day trip and visit up to 12 countries. My how things have changed as that price will not get you a last minute ticket from Texas to California! I know - I"ve tried!
The reverse side is an advertisement for Dictaphone Time-Master. With this machine, the boss could sit in the comfort of his office and dictate letters to be typed to his heart"s content. The savvy secretary could then sit at her desk and put every word the boss said down on paper. It was "more than a dictating machine - a money-saving investment!"
The page measures 6 7/8" x 10". It is in very good condition and ready for matting and framing - no rips or tears other than the binding edge where the page was removed from the binding staples. The page could also be laminated so both sides can be enjoyed.
