I absolutely love this old glass piece. It is a black, odd-shaped plate or dish. The background shows the King of Diamonds and to the front is the Queen of Hearts. The two "cards" are arranged to appear the the Queen is stacked on top of the King. I suppose this was used as a decorative piece or maybe to serve candy. The dish is in good condition. The white edges around the cards have a grayish look - probably because of the shiny black glass. There are two tiny dots on the bottom edge of the "queen" card. I can"t tell if they are factory flaws are wear. There are two very tiny chips on the back edge of the dish - neither can be seen from the front side of the dish. The dish measures 5 3/4" at the widest point at the top, 4 1/4" across the bottom, and is approximately 6" tall. The has a slight upward curve on all sides with the outer edge 1/2" from the surface. This would be a fun item to serve candy on Bridge night! Please include $4.05 for Priority Shipping in the U.S. Add an additional $1.35 if you would like the shipment insured.
