This issue of Life Magazine will tear at your heart as you recall the Vietnam war - much as our present day war in Iraq does. The feature article is titled On With The War And "Operation Masher". The photographs by Henri Huet tell the story - a sad one!Another article is one titled Visit To Mamma Mussolini, wife of Benito Mussolini and her life after the death of her husband. You will see some interesting vintage photographs of the Mussolini family.

In the year 1966, advertisers already knew the power of the full page ad. The back cover is a full page Coca-Cola advertisement. There are also some interesting ads for Vita Master (exercise equipment), Admiral TV, Good Year, Warner Girdle, & Simmons Beautyrest ($299 will buy a King-size set of mattress and box-springs).
The magazine is in very good condition - inside and out. The outer edges and binding edge show signs of wear. There are some small holes along the binding edge on the front cover. The interior is very clean - no writing or dog-ears. The pages have darkened slightly due to age and there is the unmistakable, light musty smell that magazines get when they have been stored over 35 years.
