Being a native Texan, I loved the article and pictures in "Power Still Growing, the Excitement Unabated - Texas." There is a nice nighttime view of the Dallas skyline, oil derricks in the Galveston Bay, a farmer striping his cotton crop, the 1900 home of Cattleman Dunn Houston in Gonzales, our beautiful springtime Texas Bluebonnets, and many more nice pictures.
You'll enjoy the vintage advertisement in this issue of Life. Some of the ads include Chrysler, Sinclair Motor Oil, General Electric Refrigerator, Canada Dry Quinine Water, Skippy Peanut Butter, and more.
The magazine is in good condition - inside and out. There is some minor wear to the outer edges of the cover.
