This issue of Life features Part 4 of A Thousand Days written by historian Arthur M. Schlesinger, Jr. (Sorry, I do not have Parts 1, 2, or 3). Part 4: Life in the White House. How "White Housitis" affected J.F.K., his family and friends. Even though the parts leading up to this issue are missing, there are still many nice pictures of the President and his family with touching details into his life.Another article titled A World Unique and Magnificent is about Mrs. Marjorie Merriweather Post. It has many pictures of her home, a priceless showplace of wealth and luxury! The picture of Mrs. Post's dazzling trove of Czarist Treasures is something to see! Music fans will enjoy the pictures and article titled The Children of Bobby Dylan. It features 1960's pictures of Barry McGuire, Bob Dylan, Sonny & Cher, and more. If you are a football fan, then the article titled "The Year Of The Rookie about Chicago Bears" player Dick Butkus will be of interest! The vintage advertisements are always fun to see! The magazine is in good condition with wear to the outer cover. The front cover has been bent in three places and has some very small pieces missing from the bottom edge. The back cover has a dog-ear on the lower corner. The magazine was stored with newspapers, so the back cover (mostly white) has smudges from the newspaper ink. The interior pages are clean - no writing. The outer edges and corners of some pages show some wear. The magazine is held together well with some slight darkening of the pages from age.
