This is a nice issue of Life Magazine dated October 3, 1969. The feature stories are titled "The Grace Of Ballet" and "The Tumult Of Hendrix." Tumult according to Webster is defined as: with uproar and confusion of voices, commotion, violent agitation of mind or feelings - all of which could define Jimi Hendrix and his music.
Long before Ralph Nader was running for president as a Green Party candidate, he was fighting Washington as a consumer advocate. In the article titled "Nader's Raiders: The Lone Ranger Gets A Posse," you"ll see a very young-looking Nader and read about his battles in Washington.
The interview with Premier Gold Meir titled "We won our wars - we don"t need victories" is very interesting.

The magazine is in good overall condition. There is some wear to the outer edges of the magazine cover. The interior pages are clean - no writing or dog-ears. The pages have turned dark along the edges from age, but are not brittle. The corners on some of the pages to the front of the magazine are slightly dinged.
