This is a nice inspirational book written by Roy L. Smith titled "Making A Go Of Life." It has a copyright of 1948.From the book cover: This manual guides the reader into an understanding of the laws of the spirit and then into ways of applying these laws in day-by-day creative, purposeful living. Making A Go Of Life may be used as the reader desires: for daily readings for spiritual enlightenment, direction, and refreshment; or for reading in several sittings, as any book is read. Roy L. Smith was the author of numerous books, which include Preach The Word, Desert Democracy, The Revolution In Christian Missions, Sidewalk Sermons, It All Happened Once Before, & A Voice In The Wilderness. The outer paper cover of the books has not held up well through the years. There is a large surface piece missing from the front cover. All edges have wear and tears. The paper cover has done its job well, however, as the hardback cover is in excellent condition with some minor wear to the binding edges. The cover is a pretty red leather-look with metallic gold lettering on the binding edge. On the first inside blank page is a written message as this book was a gift. The interior pages are extremely clean - no writing or dog-ears. The book measures 4 1/2 x 6 1/4" and has 346 pages.
