Popular Mechanics - Nov. 1970 - Artificial Heart
for item Mag10

$9.50

This is a November 1970 Popular Mechanics - back when the magazine was only 50 cents. It is full of projects and instructions for a variety of things.

Some of the articles include:

How to get those blacked-out games on your TV. How the first artificial heart works. How much carburetor do you need? Christmas gifts you can make.

Admittedly, many of these articles are outdated with today's technology, but still fun to read and see what "cutting edge" was 33 years ago.

There a great picture of a 1970 Ford Pickup in a Ford advertisement. Also, a great ad for Du Pont showing a teflon coated snow shovel - "The snow shovel for the man over 40" stated like 40 is over-the-hill).

The pages on "Just Patented" are pretty interesting, as well. I also enjoy the advertisement for Metropolitan Teletronics for the 4-prong "portable" phones they were selling.

Instructions are included for an Electric Greeting Card for your yard which might be fun with the Christmas Season coming up.

The magazine is in good condition with some wear to the outer cover. The interior is very clean - no writing, stains or dog-ears.

Please include $2.75 for shipping in the U.S. Add an additional $1.65 if you would like the shipment insured.
