This is a very nice vintage cookbook by Corn Products Refining Company of New York, New York. The title of the book is "Proven Recipes Showing the Uses of the Three Great Products from Corn." Those products would be Argo Corn Starch, Mazola Cooking Oil, and Karo Syrup. The cookbook was endorsed by Oscar of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel. There is no date on the cookbook that I could find, however, from the graphics and other information, I am guessing it is from the 1930's or early 1940's.Some of the recipes include: Ginger Cookies, Cinnamon Coffee Cake, Chocolate Sauce, Orange Marmalade, Berry Pies, Karo Maple Icing, Pound Cake, Orange Layer Cake, French Dressing, Banana Fritters, and many more. Overall, this little cookbook is in good condition - inside and out. The cover shows some surface and edge wear. The interior pages are clean - no dog-ears. Some of the recipes have a red "x" by the title - no doubt someone"s favorites. One page is torn from the outer edge almost to the interior edge. It is a clean tear and could be mended with acid-free tape. One other page has a small 1/2" tear along the outer edge. The cookbook measures 5x6 1/2" and has 64 pages.
