Retro Kitchen Lucite Acrylic Trivet - Groovy Colors

There is no doubt from the colors that this is from the 1960's or 1970's - nice retro colors. This is a round lucite acrylic trivet in groovy colors of orange, red and yellow.

The trivet measures 7 5/8" across. On the back side are three small knobs for legs. The front side is smooth but does have surface scratches and scuffing - one of the disadvantages of using this type of material as we would later find out. The back side looks like a three dimensional mountain range since, as the different colors of acrylic were added, they were not smoothed flat with the surface.

This would make a nice addition to a retro kitchen! It might be a fun item to stand up in a window and let the sunlight shine through the colors.
