This is a great issue of Saturday Evening Post dated June, 1978, with a cover picture of a very-young-looking Tom Brokaw of the Today Show.
Don't miss the pictures taken by Linda McCartney in the article "Through The Lens With Linda." It includes one of the Fab Four and one of husband, Paul, with a rose in his mouth.
Mel Brooks fans will enjoy the article titled " . . . And Please Love Melvin Brooks!" explaining how Brooks became the comic genius of the '70s.
Tom Brokaw looks like a kid in the many pictures of him on the Today set. There is one picture of Brokaw with Elton John - also looking very young. The article is several pages long and discusses Brokaw's personal life and his job at Today.
In "Presenting Tony Randall," you"ll see candid pictures of Randall. The by-line states, "We find him guilty of wit and ham-slaughter in the first degree." The article includes a picture of Randall with Odd Couple partner, Jack Klugman.
Theater buffs will enjoy the opening act of "California Suite" by Neil Simon which was published in this issue!
Norman Rockwell pictures are sprinkled throughout this issue as back-drops for many advertisements.
This magazine is in very good condition - inside and out. There is some minor wear to the cover edges and one small bend to the lower right corner. The back cover has one light stain about the size of a dime. The interior pages are extremely clean - no writing or dog-ears.
I would consider this magazine gift quality!
