This is a very nice copy of The Saturday Evening Post dated November 1978. The cover features John B. Connally with the caption "John B. Connally: Strong for 1980." The article about Connally has some very nice pictures of him on his Texas ranch.
Lady golfers will enjoy the article titled "Nancy Lopez: Smiling Heir to Gold"s Scepter." Nancy Lopez was from Roswell, New Mexico, and brought some queenly grace to women's golf.
Mickey Mouse fans will enjoy the article about our favorite mouse "The Mouse Mimes The Masters." Disney Productions released an illustration of Mickey posing as W. C. Fieldmouse, Groucho Mouse, and gets some help from Goofy to pose as Laurel and Hardy. (see photo)
Instructions are included for a couple of nice birdhouses you can make. Also included are the instructions for a rocking horse make of wood for a toddler.
"Delemma In Detroit" discusses the difficulty auto makers were having complying with new government regulations on automobile safety. The article includes pictures of some crash tests showing the new "inflated cushions of air" later to be called airbags. The article includes pictures of S. L. Terry of Chrysler, William O. Bourke of Ford, and Louis C. Lundstrom of General Motors.
If you enjoy the architecture of Frank Lloyd Wright, don"t miss the article titled "Frank Lloyd Wright"s Masterpiece." There are some nice pictures of one of his houses.
The magazine is in excellent condition - inside and out. There is some minor wear along the binding edge, but other than that, the magazine looks like it could be a recent issue. The interior pages are "like new" clean - no writing or dog-ears.
This magazine is gift quality and would make a nice birthday present for that person born in November 1978!
