Vintage Souvenir Plate - Skunk With Clever Saying

This is a very cute little souvenir plate with a skunk in the lower left corner of the plate. It reads:
Why be disagreeable? With a little effort you can be a real STINKER.
A sticker on the back shows it is from California Creations by Bradley - Japan. There is no information on the back of the plate.
I have no confirmed date on this item, however, I am guessing it is from the 50's or early 60's.
The plate is in good condition with no chips or cracks. It is approximately 4"x4" in size.
This would make a great gift for the "Stinker" in your life or just a nice collectible retro piece!
