Strawberry Road by Margaret Hutchison - Vintage Book

This is from the Graded Series On Frontiers published by Home Missions Board, Southern Baptist Convention with a copyright of 1948.

It is the story of Ben Miller's family and his daughter Jean who traveled around picking strawberries for a living. It illustrates the hard life of the migrant worker with many touching, vintage pictures.

The front cover shows some wear and the both right corners have been bent. The back cover shows some minor wear near the top binding edge. There is also one small stain in between the top leaves to the upper right. The interior pages are in very good condition - no writing or dog-ears.

This is a wonderful example of life on the road - a way of life for many in past days!
