The Spiritual Life by Evelyn Underhill - Copyright 1936

This is a very small book with a big message. The title of the book is "The Spiritual Life" and it was written by Evelyn Underhill. Though I could find no printed copyright date, Internet research dates the copyright at 1936. Harper and Brothers, Publishers, established in 1817 published the book in 1937.

See the photo of the back cover for an overview of the book's contents. This is a lovely, little inspirational book on worship and prayer.

The book is in very good condition - inside and out. The outer paper cover is very worn with small tears, creases and small pieces missing from the edges. It has done its job well, however, because the hardback cover of the book looks new with no wear. It is black with pretty, gold metallic lettering on the spine. The interior pages are very clean - no writing or dog-ears.

Measuring only 3 1/2x5" in size, the book is a nice size to tuck in a purse or pocket when you will have time to read.
