Two 1946 Postcards - Ghost Town, Knott's Berry Place
for item Postcard31
These two postcards are from Ghost Town, Knott's Berry Place, Buena Park, California. One shows a gravesite on Main Street - the other is titled "The Gamblers."
Both cards have a 1946 copyright by Paul V. Klieben.
"The Gamblers" is one of the attractions at Ghost Town. It is a wood carving by the famous Andy Anderson. Take a minute to read the tombstone of Deadwood Dick (see photo) for a chuckle.
"The Gamblers" card has "Julian" written in the lower right corner. The gravesite card has Paul V. Klieben in the lower right corner.
Both postcards are in very good condition. "The Gamblers" card has some very minor wear to the upper left corner. Both cards have darkened slightly from age. Both cards show the postage required to mail was only 1 cents.
