In this issue, the feature article is "Goodbye To Glory Days - Hollywood Puts Its Past Up For Sale." In the article, it discusses how major movie giants began selling off their movie splendor in hard times. There is a great full page collage of old movies stars such as May West, Gloria Swanson, Groucho Marx and more.
Hockey fans might enjoy the article titled "To Save Or Score, Try Orr" about Bobby Orr, the dashing Bruins defenseman.
The cover is a great fold-out (2 pages) of "The Spirit of Cinema America," a mural painted by James H. Daugherty in 1920 in Loew's State Theatre, Cleveland.
Car buffs will enjoy the 3-page fold out at the front of the magazine for the Chevrolet Camaro that came out Feb. 26th of that year. Other nice car advertisements include a full page Mustang ad on the back inside cover and the Buick Opel Sedan for $1955.00.
The magazine is in good condition - inside and out. The outer cover shows some wear and there are tears on the edge at the binding edge. The interior is clean - no writing or dog-ears.
Take a little trip down memory lane with this magazine or it would make a nice gift for someone born this month and year.
