Vintage Reader's Digest - September 1968 - IRS Reform

Ahh 1968! Seems like only yesterday, but oh, so long ago!

There is nothing like reading and looking through a vintage magazine to make you realize how much things have changed - yet many of our issues remain the same today. One of the articles in this issue is titled "The American Alternative To Violence" yet violence remain a very big problem for us today!

Or how about the article titled "Time For Reform In The IRS". To quote the younger generation, "AS IF!"

On page called "Poor Woman's Almanac" has some quotes from Ladies' Home Journal. The one I liked: Affluence is having no qualms about throwing out a three-way light bulb with one way left. I'm not affluent!

Overall, the magazine is in good condition with a few pages having very small knick in them from handling. The interior is clean - no marks or dog-ears though the pages have darkened slightly with age, but are not brittle!

This would make an excellent gift for the person born in September 1968, started their first year of college or some other milestone event!
