This is a November 1971 issue of Woman's Homelife Magazine. It is full of patterns, recipes, and other information for women. In the article "Barbara Walters" Merry-Go-Round World," you'll see a picture of a very young Barbara Walters with her daughter Jacqueline. At the time this article was written, Ms. Walters was co-host of the Today Show. There are nice patterns for Huck & Lattice Work Pillows. Several pages of illustrated instructions are included for crewel and embroidery stitches, swedish and huck weaving. It seems we were concerned about our carbohydrate intake - even in 1971. There is a full diet plan included in this issue titled "The 30-Day Low Carbohydrate Diet." You'll be treated to several yummy-sounding recipes including hot cheese dip, Italian Appetizers, banana nut bread, gingerbread, herbed turkey patties, and many more. The magazine is in very good condition - inside and out. Because of the type of paper used (something like that used for newspapers only a little heavier), the interior pages have turned dark with age. They are in very good condition, however, - no writing, dog-ears and are not brittle. Please include $2.75 for shipping in the U.S. Add an additional $1.65 if you would like the book insured. I add new items to my shop frequently. Please bookmark Moments In Time and visit often! Thank you for looking!
