Zenith All-Transistor Trans-Oceanic Radio Ad - 1958
for item Ad14
This advertising duo comes from a September 1958 National Geographic Magazine.
The first side is an advertisement for Zenith All-Transistor Trans-Oceanic Radio. This baby would set you back $250.00 and claimed to be the smallest and lightest radio ever made. If memory serves me right, they were still the size of a medium sized ice-chest!
The reverse side is an advertisement for Fonografs by Webcor. This stereo only costs $475.00 and came in a nice French Provincial cabinet.
There is also an ad for Realist, Inc. telling you to thrill to the Hi-Fi of 35 mm. color photography. When you"re ready for the best, buy a Realist stereo camera.
The page measures 6 7/8" x 10". It is in very good condition and ready for matting and framing - no rips or tears other than the binding edge where the page was removed from the binding staples. The page could also be laminated so both sides can be enjoyed.
Please include $2.00 for shipping in the U.S. Add an additional $1.65 if you want the item insured.I add new items to my shop almost daily. Please bookmark my shop and visit often!
