Germany Printed Postcard - Lace and Flowers Embossed

This is a very pretty postcard that was printed in Germany. The front side has a very intricate border of flowers and scrollwork around it. Small blue flowers fill the interior. All of the images are embossed giving the card a three-dimensional look.
The message is to Claude in Anson, Texas, from Aunt Julia simply stating that she wished she could come see him.
The postcard is in good condition though there is wear to the edges and corners. There is a small water spot on the front side of the card. I have no idea as to the age of this card, however, because of the dates of cards that were acquired with this one, I am guessing it is dated prior to 1940.
