Odd Fellow And Rebekah Roster 1951 - Fort Worth, Texas

This is a 1951 Roster for the Odd Fellow and Rebekah Organization for the Fort Worth, Texas, area. The book was sponsored by the Southside Rebekah Lodge No. 49. Grapevine and Burleson’s Lodge Membership roster is included, as well as, Silber Arrow Theata RHO Girls Club’s roster.

At the top of each page is an advertisement from a local merchant – probably sponsored the printing of the directory. It is interesting to see the six-digit phone numbers and merchants offering Green Stamps.

My favorite advertisement is the book’s back cover – Leonard’s Department Store in downtown Fort Worth. A favorite childhood memory is visiting my Grandmother in Fort Worth and riding the trolley from the Leonard’s parking area to the underground area of the store to shop!

The book is in good condition – inside and out. There is some minor wear to the edges and corners of the cover. The cover has also darkened some from age. Some has drawn a couple of odd shapes on both sides of the lower portion of the Leonard’s ad. The interior pages are extremely clean – no writing or dog-ears. There are 31 pages in the roster.
