This is a military patch for Delta Company 34th Spt. Bn. – 6th Cavalry – Wagonmasters. If my research is correct “Spt. Bn.” Stands for Support Battalion.
My internet research turned up little information about his patch. I did learn the Delta Company began in mid-1968 as a result of a restructuring effort due to shortages of personnel experienced by Bravo and Charlie Companies in the Vietnam War.
I believe this patch dates back to the late 1960’s or early 70’s. If someone has more information about this patch, I would appreciate an email with any details you can provide.
The patch is in very good condition and does not appear that it was ever used or sewn onto a uniform.
