This is a very old picture postcard. It shows a young woman – all dressed up on his Sunday best – an ankle length dress. The woman has accessorized with a wide-brim hat, gloves and a long string of beads.
It was a common practice for people to have photographs of themselves made into postcards they could send to friends and loved ones.
The back side of the postcard is divided for a message and an address, as well as, a place for the postage stamp. The card was never used.
