This is a group of three vintage Valentine’s Day Cards. They are from the mid 1950’s.
The cards include:
1. A girl and boy making pies. The verse: "I’m ‘PIE-NING’ for you . . . . Be my Valentine."
2. A girl and boy caught in a flood. The verse: "Sitting here waiting and waiting. Oh gee! Why don’t you come and rescue me? My Valentine!"
3. A boy and girl grilling. The verse: "May I ‘GRILL’ you? Will you be my Valentine?"
The cards are all in excellent condition – especially considering its age. This card was in a group of many others – one hand dated on the back as Feb. 14, 1957. All cards have score lines on them where the cards could be folded to fit in the envelopes provided with them. Only the "pie" card has been folded on the score lines.
