This is a group of three vintage Valentine’s Day Cards. These appear to be very old and I am guessing they are from the 1940’s. All are very sweet!
The cards include:
1. A young girl hanging out clothes. The verse: "I’m gonna ‘dry’ (inside) to make you mine – Dear Valentine."
2. A boy and girl under an umbrella. The verse: "Rain or shine – You’re my Valentine."
3. A girl with flowers. The verse: "I’ve ‘PICKED’ you to be my Valentine . . . (inside) and I hope I’ll be yours all the time."
The cards are all in excellent condition – especially considering its age. The card with the girl hanging laundry has a small bend on the upper right corner. The "rain" has nothing written on the back. The inside of the third card (girl with flowers) has "from Virginia" - "to Sherley" written on the inside of the card. The two cards with inside messages are printed on paper – not card stock.
