This is a vintage issue of "The Stamp Finder – U. S. Stamp Identifier – How To Collect Postage Stamps." Philatelic Institute of Cambridge, Massachusetts, published the publication that has a copyright of 1954.
The booklet begins with "A Message For The Whole Family" explaining how easy it is to start collecting stamps and the fun and recreation the hobby provides.
There are several pages of stamp illustrations to help collectors identify stamps. There is also a section called "The Stamp Finder." It is a guide that enables the collector to find the Country to which any stamp belongs – somewhat outdated now!
Several pages to the back of the book have pictures of stamps from other countries.
The book is in good condition – inside and out. The outside paper cover has some wear on the edges and the corners have some bends on them from the years. The back cover has 1/2" tear along the outside edge. The interior pages are extremely clean – no writing or dog-ears. There are 31 pages plus information on the back cover.
Please include $1.50 for shipping in the U.S. Add an additional $1.30 if you would like the shipment insured.
This would make a nice piece of memorabilia for someone who collects stamps!
