This is a nice advertisement from April, 1958, for Coca-Cola – Sign of Good Taste . . . Everywhere. This ad was promoting the Brussels World’s Fair that was held between April 17 and October 19, 1958. The picture shows a couple in front of the Coca-Cola Pavilion asking for directions. This advertisement was the back cover of the magazine.
The reverse side features advertising for Sinclair Oil. It shows a man fishing at Superior National Forest, Minnesota.
The page measures 6 7/8" x 10". It is in semi-good condition and ready for matting and framing - no rips or tears other than the binding edge where the page was removed from the binding staples. The picture has some scuffing on the faces of the two women and the legs of the Boy Scout to the right. These Coca-Cola ads are difficult to come by as collectors have usually already removed them from the magazine. The page could also be laminated so both sides can be enjoyed. The Geo cover is shown to validate the date of the ad, however, it is not included with the item.
