Advertisement - Studebaker Builder of Cyclone Engines
for item Ad76
This is a nice vintage advertisement dated April, 1945, for Studebaker – Wartime Builder of Wright Cyclone Engines for Boeing Flying Fortress. The end of World War II was still several months away, so all major companies were supporting the war – making parts for planes and other equipment. The ad features nice artwork by Frederic Tellander (1878-1977).
The reverse side features advertising for Burlington Lines – Everywhere West. "An Essential Link in Transcontinental Transportation."
The page measures 6 7/8" x 10". It is in very good condition and ready for matting and framing - no rips or tears other than the binding edge where the page was removed from the binding staples. There is some minor wear to the corners. The page could also be laminated so both sides can be enjoyed.
Please include $2.00 for shipping in the U.S. Add an additional $1.65 if you want the item insured.
