Ad - Magnavox Radio Phonograph - Metropolitan Insurance
for item Ad78
This is a nice vintage advertisement dated April, 1945, Magnavox Radio Phonograph – The choice of great artists. The illustration shows Stephen Foster on the Cincinnati waterfront. The ad states, "Stephen Foster making his first contact with the melodies that would lead him to write America’s best-loved songs."
The picture is one of a series of incidents in the lives of immortal composers, painted for the Magnavox collection by Walter Richards.
The reverse side features advertising for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company of New York.
The page measures 6 7/8" x 10". It is in very good condition and ready for matting and framing - no rips or tears other than the binding edge where the page was removed from the binding staples. There is some minor wear to the corners. The page could also be laminated so both sides can be enjoyed.
Please include $2.00 for shipping in the U.S. Add an additional $1.65 if you want the item insured.
