This is a souvenir postcard that says, "Greetings From St. Louis Zoo." It shows a pretty scene of flamingos, swans and other birds in a pond. Very colorful.
The card is from Mother telling the Steele’s of Fort Worth, Texas, that everything is fine.
The postcard is postmarked in Collinsville, Illinois, and is dated May 19, 1953.
The postcard is in good condition with some minor wear to the corners. The lower right corner has a slight fracture across it. There are two nice 1¢ stamps still attached to the postcard.
