This is a cover from Time Magazine dated October 15, 1979.
The headline reads "John Paul, Superstar – Special: an Album of His Journey." The cover features a picture of Pope John Paul riding a float.
Please seem my item Cover5 for another Time cover featuring the Pope dated October 30, 1979.
The cover is in very good condition with some wear to both vertical edges. The lower left corner has also been torn off. Sorry about the address label! I tried several methods to remove the labels from these covers including heat, steam, freezing and chemical products. NASA should be using this stuff, as the label would not budge.
This might make a nice framed birthday gift for someone born on the above date!
