This is a cover from Time Magazine dated July 20, 1987.
The headline reads, "I was authorized to do everything that I did!" – a quote by Oliver North during the Iran Contra Hearings. The cover shows a defiant North pointing his finger as he makes his claim!
The back side of the cover is an advertisement for Toyota Quality Parts and Service.
The cover is in very good condition with some minor wear to the edges. Sorry about the address label! I tried several methods to remove the labels from these covers including heat, steam, freezing and chemical products. NASA should be using this stuff, as the label would not budge.
This might make a nice framed birthday gift for someone born on the above date!
