I Just Couldn't Take It Baby - Lew Leslie's Blackbirds

I Just Couldn't Take It Baby - Lew Leslie's Blackbirds
for item Music106

This is a nice vintage piece of sheet music titled "I Just Couldn’t Take It Baby." The song is from Lew Leslie’s "Blackbirds of 1934" a production of the book by Nat N. Dorfman, Mann Holiner and Lew Leslie. The words and music are by Mann Holiner, Alberta Nichols, Joseph Young, Ned Washington and Victor Young.

The cover features a cool Art Deco graphic.

Robbins Music Corporation of New York published the music that has a 1933 copyright.

Included with the music are Chorus samples published by the same company. The songs include "A Thousand Good Nights by Walter Donaldson and "Dancing In The Moonlight" by Gus Kahn and Walter Donaldson.

Considering its age, the music is in very good condition. The cover has some minor wear to the edges and corners. There are small splits on both the upper and lower fold of the cover. The front cover has some light fractures and surface wear, also. The interior pages are clean with no writing.

Please include $2.25 for shipping in the U.S. Add an additional $1.30 if you would like the shipment insured.
