Better Homes & Gardens Magazine - July 1973 - Recipes

This is another great retro issue of Better Homes and Gardens dated July 1973. Like other issues, this one is full of fun projects, great recipes, and tips for the home.

Now that the retro look is back in style, don’t miss the article "100 Ideas Under $100." I think you’ll find that inflation will possibly run some of the projects over the $100 price listed back in 1973.

Some of the projects include a Rugged Mailbox, a Plug-in Chandelier, Felt and Fabric Room (very colorful), Stovepipe T Lamp, Home Playground, Cushion Top Chest, Wood and Mirror Wall, and many more.

Some of the recipes you’ll find in this issue include Summertime Eggnog Pie, Burrito Burgers, Lemon-Pineapple Pie, Crème de Cherry Tarts, Dilly Burgers, Deep Dish Plum Pie, Apricot Banana Shortcake, and many more.

Overall, the magazine is in good condition – inside and out. The outer cover has some wear to the edges and corners. The interior pages are extremely clean – no writing or dog-ears.
