Souvenir Postcard Set of San Francisco, California

This is a nice set of True Color Views Postcards of San Francisco. The outer cardboard folder shows the original package had 20 postcards, however, there are only 14 cards left. The rest were probably mailed to friends and family during this vacation trip.
Each postcard is a beautiful high gloss photo of the sites and landmarks in San Francisco. Some of the pictures include Fisherman’s Wharf, Oakland Bay Bridge, the Conservatory at Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, Mission Dolores, Steinhart Aquarium, Seals Rocks, and more. The back of each card has a short paragraph with facts about the scene.
E. F. Clements of San Francisco, California, published the postcards. There is no copyright date on the cards, however, from the cars and other vehicles in the pictures, I am guessing these are from the 1940’s or earlier.
All postcards are in perfect, unused condition. The outer cardboard folder has wear to the edges and corners – but it has done its job by protecting the postcards inside. There is a tear on the slot where the folder is closed.
This set would make a nice addition to a San Francisco collection!
