Country Afghans - The Vanessa-Ann Collection

This is a very nice afghan pattern book. It is titled "Country Afghans – The Vanessa-Ann Collection." Oxmoor House, Inc. and Leisure Arts, Inc. of Birmingham, Alabama, published the book that has a 1994 copyright.

The afghan patterns are divided into four groups – (1) With Warmth & Comfort (2) In The Classic Tradition (3) By The Fireside (4) Through The Seasons. General directions and yarn information are also included in the book.

Some of the pattern names include Mosaic Medallions, Bright Blossoms, Amish Stripes, Special Effects, Irish Chain, Slices Of Summer, Nutcracker Sweet, and more.

The book is in excellent condition – inside and out. The outside cover looks brand new. The interior pages are extremely clean with no writing. Several of the pages have a dog-ear on the upper outside corner – no doubt the previous owner’s favorite patterns. All have been straightened; however, the bend on the page is still obvious. All bends appear in the margin and do not affect the quality of the pages.
