This is a very nice vintage cookbook titled "Money-Saving Cook Book" by Ida Bailey Allen. The book has over 1,000 price-tested and taste-tested recipes and menus for "today’s homemaker." Garden City Publishing, Inc. published the cookbook that has copyright dates of 1940, 1942 and 1948.

The cookbook is in good overall condition. The outer cover has some wear to the edges and corners. The interior pages are very clean – no writing or dog-ears. There is some light soiling to the closed edges of the pages.
