I Thee Wed - Beautiful Tributes to Love and Marriage

This is a nice vintage book titles "I Thee Wed – Beautiful Tributes to Love and Marriage." The verses and poems were selected by Mary Jo Heller and the beautiful illustrations are by Gail Flores. Hallmark Editions published the book that has a 1969 copyright.

The book includes words and poems by William Shakespeare, Abraham Lincoln, Benjamin Franklin, Mark Van Doren, Anne Bradstreet, John Ciardi and many more.

This book is in excellent condition – inside and out. The hardback cover has some very minor wear to the edges and corners. It has been well protected by the dust jacket. The dust jacket has a few scratches into the surface that are only visible when turned in the light. The interior pages are extremely clean – no writing or dog-ears. There were a few light pencil marks marking passages in the book, however, these have been erased.

I would consider this book as gift quality. It might be appreciated by an upcoming June wedding with a vintage theme!
