Belle Ryan School Ethnic Cookbook - It's A Small World

If you like to sample a variety of recipes, then you will really enjoy this cookbook. My Internet search found only one Belle Ryan School - an elementary school located in Omaha, Nebraska, so I am assuming that is the school that published this cookbook. The copyright is April, 1977.

The cookbook has some very tasty sounding ethnic recipes. At the end of each recipe, the name of the teacher or parent that contributed the recipe is given. Some of those include:

Dumplings - Bohemian
Golabski - Poland One-Dish Meal
Fruit Soup - Scandinavian
Irish Wheaten Bread (Soda Bread)
Sweet Potato Pie - Soul Food
Tabuli - Arabian Salad
German Poppyseed Cake
Stuffed Artichokes - Italian
And many more

The cookbook is in very good condition - inside and out. The outer cover is in good condition. The interior pages are extremely clean with no writing. The corner of the last page has been dog-eared. There are approximately 40 single-sided pages in the cookbook.

The cookbook looks as if the pages were hand typed and printed. There are also hand-drawn illustrations between the recipes on each page so someone put in a lot of time making this cookbook!
