No pops or static like you hear on some remakes from tape. The sound is very clean and sounds like you're listening to the original 78-rpm record. These recordings have not been changed or distorted by electronic enhancement. This is "old" music and it sounds that way! Nonetheless, it has a style and uniqueness all it's own that Count Basie fans will appreciate!
