The article "Trader Jack" is about Jack Clover's habitat called the Sunset Trading Post. It was located on U.S. 287 between Bowie and Alvord, Texas.
There are many beautiful pictures of the many Texas missions. The article includes a lovely night-time picture of The Alamo - called "Cradle of Texas Liberty." A nice map is included with the article showing the locations of all the Texas Missions, as well as, a list of the names and dates when established. This is some great Texas history!
"Come To The Fair" highlights the excitement of the many Texas Fairs that are held each year. There are several pictures with the article. There is also a list of fairs and the dates they were held included.
"By Land, Sea and Air" is about the Pate Museum of Transportation located on the Texas Refinery Recreation Ranch about 20 miles southwest of Fort Worth, Texas. The article is by Dick Roberts and the many nice photographs are by Jack Lewis.
The magazine is in excellent condition - inside and out (except for the missing pages at the front as mentioned above). The outer cover has some minor wear to the edges and corners. The interior pages are extremely clean - no writing or dog-ears.
