For The Orchestral Trumpeter - 16 Smart Studies - Music

This is a nice vintage song book titled "For The Orchestral Trumpeter – 16 Smart Studies" by Harry Huffnagle. The songs were edited by David Gornston. Gate Music of New York published the book that has a 1947 copyright.

The different pages throughout the book show different methods and studies. An example:

"Bright Blue" – Note that in some of the studies, the chord progressions are indicated because the modern musician is interested in harmoic, as well as, technical structure. The signs ~~~ are lip shakes, not trills.

I do not read or play music, so feel free to email any questions your might have. I will do my best to answer them.

The song book is in very good condition – inside and out. There is some minor wear to the edges and corners of the cover. The interior pages are very clean – no writing or dog-ears. One page has been checked in the upper margin with pencil. This has been erased but still visible.
