The Jewish Cookery Cookbook by Leah W. Leonard

This is a very interesting cookbook titled “Jewish Cookery” by Leah W. Leonard. It is a complete guide to Jewish cooking with the traditional recipes for all notable Jewish dishes, suggested menus, and special holiday foods. Crown Publishers, Inc. of New York published the book that has an original copyright of 1949. This copy is the December 1977 twenty-fifth printing.

The book is in excellent condition – inside and out. The outer dust jacket has some minor wear and tears to the edges and corners. The inside of the dust jacket is almost entirely stained from the inside which has turned it darker than it originally was. This has not stained the inside pages at all. The hard back cover is in very good condition with some minor wear to the edges. The interior pages are very clean – no writing or dog-ears. The interior pages look brand new and don’t appear that this cookbook was ever used. The book has 499 pages including the index.
