This is a very nice vintage cookbook titled “Great Recipes From the World’s Great Cooks” by Peggy Harvey. Gramercy Publishing Company of New York published the cookbook that has a copyright of 1964. This is a First Edition.

The recipes in this cookbook actually come from the published cookbooks of these famous cooks. Some of the cooks include James Beard, Helen Brown, Ada Boni, Emily Chase, Ruth Ellen Church, Craig Claiborne, Kyra Petrovskaya, Jeanne Owen, Alexander Watt and many others.

The book is in very good condition – inside and out. The hard back cover is in very good condition. The upper right corner has a slight inward turn where it has been dinged. The outer dust jacket has some wear on the edges and small tears on the edges. The interior pages are “like new” clean – no writing or dog-ears. The book has 280 pages including the index.
