If this interesting vintage song book could talk, I am sure it would have some very interesting stories. The book is titled “The Scribner Radio Music Library – Volume VII – Songs from The Operas – Sacred Music.” Albert E. Wier edited the book which is for both vocal and piano. The original copyright is 1931. This is a 1946 edition.
The chapters in the book include:

Some of the songs include:
* A Song of India
* My Heart At Thy Sweet Voice

As you can see from the pictures, I believe this book survived a fire at one time. Some of the hardback cover edges are darker than the original cover which is a wine-red. The imprint of another book is plainly seen on the front cover. The book is in good overall condition. The outer cover has some light wear to the corners and some water stains on the outer edges.
The interior pages are in good condition. All pages to the front of the book have a noticeable water stain on the outer edge of the pages. The water stains are less pronounced toward the back of the book. The water stains do not impact any of the music as most are in the margins. The book measures approximately 9x12 inches in size and has 256 pages.
