This is vintage sheet music. The cover shows that there are Two Negro Spirituals – “Leanin’ On De Lawd” and “Standin’ In De Need O’Prayer” – both arranged by William Reddick. These songs had been sung by Oscar Seagle. Even though the cover shows there are two songs, it appears that only the first, “Leanin’ On De Lawd” is inside, unless the two are some how incorporated. I do not read music, so I cannot tell. The music is complete and see no evidence that any pages are missing.
Huntzinger & Dilworth of New York published the music that has a copyright of 1918.
The music is in good condition – inside and out. There is some wear to the edges and corners of the cover. There is a name stamped on the upper right edge of the cover. The interior is clean with no writing.
