It covers a small part of the collection of photographs taken the first ten years of Life Magazines publication 1936-1945. The photographs taken during and after World War II are very sad reminders of that time.

The soft cover book is in very good condition inside and out. The outer cover has some light wear to the edges and corners of the cover. The interior pages are extremely clean no writing or dog-ears. The book has 204 pages plus index pages.
