This is a very nice book titled “A Mahjong Handbook – How to Play, Score and Win the Modern Game” by Eleanor Noss Whitney. The original copyright is 1964. This is the sixteenth printing dated 1982. The book was printed in Tokyo, Japan.
The book covers everything you would want to know about playing Mahjong. It includes the official rules, alternative, variations and strategy.
The hardback book is in excellent condition – inside and out. The paper jacket has some very light wear to the edges and corners. The interior pages are extremely clean – no writing or dog-ears. The book has 176 pages including the index pages.
